Ram graduated from Cambridge University with a degree in law and is now a freelance political journalist. In addition to founding and editing Discuss[n], he has written for, among others, The Independent, The Huffington Post, Prospect Magazine and The New Internationalist on topics encompassing politics, human rights and social affairs.
